Are you crazy....

That seems to be the question Kevin and I received when we would tell people we bought a Jeep off of EBay. Well I am happy to report that no we are not crazy and we are very happy with our purchase. Kevin and I flew out last Thursday to Houston to pick the Jeep up; and what a day it was. It started out with turbulence as we were approaching Denver (Connection City). I was asleep and was woken by the plane bouncing around and people screaming, The first thing I thought of when I woke up was WOW that was a rough landing, nope we were still in the air! Of course Kevin is laughing and having a good time the poor couple behind us, I am sure they thought we were going down (I will admit the profanities coming from them where quite funny)...
Kevin doing homework in DEN!

The flight from Denver to Houston was very uneventful (Just how I like them). The dealership picked us up from the airport; this is when I really began to worry, all I could think of is "oh great this guy is going to take us out in the middle of nowhere and rob/murder us... We are crazy!" OK so obviously my imagination was getting a little out of hand; needless to say we arrived at the dealership, and the Jeep was awesome. After everything was said and done we were able to leave the dealership around 5p in our new Jeep to start out on our long drive home aprox 24 hrs. Before the day was over we had two more near death experiences... Let's just say Kevin has sworn off Dallas, "Never going back!".

The next day we drove through OK, KS (Just might be the worst state to drive through. We tried to play 'I spy' but there is nothing to 'I spy' in KS... Seriously!), CO and WY (which we were stuck in a blizzard) and stayed the night in Rawlins, WY.

The Most interesting thing to see in KS.

Blizzard in WY

We finally made it back home on day three. I must say all though it was a long drive Kevin and I had fun. It was great to just sit and talk with Kevin for hours; and of course eat junk food until we felt sick. The Kevin and Jamie show never disappoints (That is what we call our life together).

Looks like a nice car!! Can't wait to take a ride in it!! I don't think you guys are crazy...Ben once bought a boat off E-bay, drove all the way to Texas and turned out the boat wasn't as described and turned around and drove home. Thankfully, Ben's bro. went with him. That was a long trip (according to Ben!)

I love the new purchase! Good Job! My brother has actually bought a truck from the same place you just bought your Jeep. He would do it again in a second!

It sounds like you had quite an aventure, you never told me about any of that, except that Kansas sucked, I am glad it worked out for you guys, we bought my mercedes of ebay as you know from a dealer in Dallas Tx. I would do it again too, threw a Texas dealer, they have great laws that back them. Looking forwrd to seeing you Friday night and getting to send some time Sunday with you both, it has been awhile.
