Let’s see where do I start… There has been so much going on here; I will start with the Good stuff! 
Kevin and I with my mom, Brandon and Montana flew to Texas for My great grandma Dovie’s 95th Birthday. My dad and Brother decided to make a road trip of it and road their bikes. I was a little nervous about this trip, this was the first time that I would have kids flying on my buddy passes, and well I tend to get really wound up when it comes to people traveling on my buddy passes let alone kids. But I must say I was so impressed; Brandon and Montana did so good, I think Kevin and I may need to take them on more trips.
Our Journey started out on Wednesday night we left Salt Lake City at 11pm and landed in JFK (New York) around 5am on Thursday… Not to leave JFK until 11am to head down to Houston arriving around 2pm, and then we had a 2 hour car ride ahead of us (can you see now why I was nervous)… It was a very long day.
On Friday we spent the day visiting with family and playing on Sam Rayburn reservoir…
I absolutely love this place if I could live one place in the world it would be here; Yeah the bugs are big and they get hurricanes but this just feel like home to me I love it… Maybe someday Kevin and I will have a home here.

On Saturday my mom and dad were woken at 3:30am, with news that there motor home and house had caught on fire… We spent the morning in pure shock, what do you do when you are that far from home and you get news like this… My mom and dad were checking there email all day, waiting for updates and photo’s from friends. (I will post more about the Motor home and House fire later)… But this was the day of Great Grandma Dovie’s Birthday party and that is what we came to Taxes for so we celebrated… Although this was a joyous day the dark cloud that hung over the day just could not be shaken…
